A Semester of Appreciation: Celebrating Our Staff and Volunteers
1/26/2026 2:22 pm
As the first semester wraps up, we celebrated our amazing teachers and staff with several wonderful events.
We kicked off the year with the Staff Welcome Back Party, followed by the Energy Garden in September. In October, the 5th grade hosted a Harvest Themed Luncheon, and the 4th grade treated our staff to a Mashed Potato Bar Luncheon in November. In December, we hosted a festive Cookie Drive, and the semester wrapped up with a Seahawks Football Themed Brunch hosted by Kindergarten in January.
A heartfelt thank-you to all our incredible volunteers for giving their time and energy. We are so grateful for the effort and care each volunteer contributed. We’re excited for more events in the future as we continue to celebrate the amazing teachers and staff who make our school such a special place for our children!

Why should your son play lacrosse?
Active and athletic: Players run, throw, catch, and score—like a mix of soccer, basketball, and hockey.
Team and friendships: Builds camaraderie through teamwork, encouragement, and shared fun.
Fast thinking: Helps kids make quick decisions in a fast-paced game.
Confidence-building: Successes like scoring, passing, and helping the team boost pride and self-esteem.
High-energy fun: Constant action keeps kids engaged; youth rules prohibit full-body checks and stick hitting.
New to lacrosse and unsure about signing up? The club has used gear you can try before you buy. Used equipment may include: stick, helmet, chest pads, elbow pads, gloves, balls.

11/23/2025 11:27 am
Bellevue families, educators, and community members are invited to come together for a powerful evening focused on the future of our schools. Washington State continues to fall short of fully funding K–12 education, and our students feel these gaps every day. The Regional Town Hall on Education Funding is our opportunity to show up, learn, and advocate for the equitable, sustainable support our students deserve.
This student-led Town Hall will center student voices from across our region. Students will share personal stories and real experiences showing how funding impacts their learning, opportunities, and daily school experience. Their courage and leadership deserve a full room of community support. When we show up as a community, we strengthen our schools — and our future.
