Runners Club - Purple Route Results!

Thanks to everyone who participated in our Purple Route.

 

Congrats to all of our runners: Abhay (5th), Alan (5th), Caleb (3rd), Chelsea (3rd), Emily (5th), Ethan (2nd), Ethan (5th),  Jane (1st), Jasmine (4th), Kayla (4th), Krithya (3rd), Lili (1st), Max (3rd), Michael (3rd), Naomi (5th), Natalie (3rd), and Tessa (3rd).

 

RESULTS

Our runners found five course markers with silly questions. Here are their answers:

 

1. Would you rather be the tallest kid at school or the shortest kid at school?

Winner: tallest (75%)

 

I'm a 5th grader. It would be weird if I was the shortest at the school

- Emily V. (5th Grade)

  

2. Would you rather eat butter popcorn or caramel popcorn?

Winner: Tie!

 

Caramel popcorn, because caramel is sweeter than butter.

- Michael X. (3rd Grade)

 

I eat hot unpopped kernels.

- Jasmine (4th Grade)

 

     

3. Would you rather have an appointment with the dentist or doctor?

Winner: Doctor (69%)

 

Doctor would not pull my teeth out.

- Abhay (5th Grade)

  

Dentist, because visiting the doctor could mean you have a very serious condition, which is more dangerous. I prefer to be safer.

- Kayla (4th Grade) in dissent

 

 

4. Would you rather be a PE teacher or an art teacher?

Winner: PE teacher (53%)

 

PE teacher, because it will be fun to play with the kids.

- Ethan Z. (5th Grade)

 

    

3. Would you rather ride a roller coaster or water slide?

Winner: Water slide (64%)

 

Water slide, because roller coasters are too scary.
