Walkathon Thank‑You & Community Celebration

Thank you, Medina families, for an incredible Walkathon!

Our students showed so much energy, joy, and school spirit, and it was all possible because of the support of our families, staff, and volunteers. Together, we raised over $62,000 for our school. We are so grateful for the generosity and enthusiasm of our school community.

Your time and energy made the event truly special. And last but not least, we could have done it without the incredible partnership and support from our school staff: Principal Lara, for her "down for anything" spirit, leadership, and steady support throughout planning and event day. Our Teacher Leader, Mr. Heinemann, along with Mrs. Clarke, Mrs. Wright, and the entire V‑Team, who coordinated schedules, dreamed up the funniest and most creative milestone prizes, encouraged students throughout the day, and helped everything run seamlessly. Our wonderful front office team, Ms. Tina and Ms. Marryam, for their help with communication, logistics, and tireless efforts. Maria, our school custodian, for assisting with removal of the many Walkathon boxes.

Thank you again to every family, volunteer, and staff member, students who donated their own piggy-bank savings, for contributing to our school Walkathon. Your support strengthens our school and creates the joyful, connected experiences our students will remember for years to come. Students will be treated to a teacher lip-sync battle soon enough!
