Destination Imagination

Multiple DI teams have been formed recently. The monthly Team manager training started on Oct 28 and Nov 4 here. The next one will be on Dec 2nd.
We have more DI-passionated kids haven't found a team yet at 3rd and 4th grades. If any parents from these grades are willing to step up to be team managers, pls email us ASAP and then more teams & fun can be created. Make creativity a priority!

Nov/Dec Afterschool Sports Programs

Bring your sport gear and keep warm for the next 6 weeks (skipping Thanksgiving week.) if you signed up for the activities. Your child will be released to the programs from dismissal. Please pick up at your designated time. Check here for more Program details.

To better plan fall after school programs with weather conditions and Covid-19 restrictions, we would like you to fill this survey. We will use the results to decide if we will continue offering vendor partnered after school programs and/or adjust program options in Nov/Dec. Please be aware that this survey is for interest collection purposes instead of program enrollment.

Mental Health Awareness Month

Join us in an important conversation with Medina Elementary’s Principal Dr. Laurie Harvey, Counselor Elise Geck and Child’s Mental Health Advocate Maria Barrios to learn about helpful resources and initiative in our school to support our student’s Mental Health wellness.

STEM Night

Our fall event will be held virtually on Wed, Oct. 20 at 6:30pm with the theme STEM Extravaganza! Starting next week, we will provide guidelines for suggested STEM challenges. Make sure to record and submit your STEM projects so we can stream your ideas and share them with everyone at the event. We will also have surprise guests for everyone to watch. We can’t wait to see your submissions!
